Update: Adding a model-selection command

Another day, another update to add more functionalities to AltaeraAI.
  • This time, a command for changing models was added.

Ideally, it would be best if we could unify the experience for everyone. But, even if such approach was used, we would be left with the unfortunate users who do not meet specified system requirements. On the other hand, there would also be an amount of users with high-end hardware which could run a bigger model if only it was available to use. This update solves the problem by giving every user an option to choose from both smaller or bigger AI models, so to adjust the software to given hardware. However, we should note that it should only be used by either experienced users, or by those who had given time to learn the technical information. Some tutorial or help section regarding these new functionalities might be added in the days to come, so be sure to follow new blog updates. Expect the list of models to change with time, as new ones are being added.

To update AltaeraAI, open Termux and paste in following command:

altaera-update
  • if the command above does not work for you, use this one:
termux-chroot -- ./altaera-update.sh

Then, to change your AI model, type in:

altaera-model
