Launching & Updating
Open Termux, type in “ae” – you will be welcomed with the MENU screen.
The “Start AltaeraAI” button will ask you to choose from currently installed models, and then forward you to a browser with deployed UI.
Installation
- Download and install the latest version of the Termux app from our Termux Release Mirror.
- Alternatively, you can visit https://f-droid.org/packages/com.termux/ and download the APK from the F-Droid repositories. You can also download the F-Droid client and proceed with installing Termux from there.
Important: Android might give you a warning saying “The file might be harmful“. It’s a generic warning triggered whenever you try to download an APK file outside of the Google Play Store – in which Termux is no longer available.
- Furthermore, a message like the one below will appear:
- This is also a generic message generated by the fact that Termux was downloaded from outside of Google Play Store.
You can rest assured and press “Continue” to proceed with installation.
2. Open Termux and paste in:
curl -o install https://raw.githubusercontent.com/latestissue/AltaeraAI/main/scripts/install && chmod +x install && ./install- Then press ENTER and wait for the installation to finish. Make sure that you are connected to Wi-Fi because the process will download 3GB+ of data, depending on device. Installation will take 5min+ of time, depending on the device and Internet speed.
